Chesterton. The Indiana Dunes Image Makers Nature Photography Club normally meets the fourth Tuesday of every month. After a special program, participants are invited to show their own slides or prints on the special featured topic. Hammond. The Gibson Woods Wild Ones is a local chapter of Wild Ones Natural Landscapers, Ltd. Their mission is to educate and share information with members and the community and to promote biodiversity and environmentally sound practices. Highland. The Brantwood Home & Garden Club meets the first Friday of the month, 12:30 pm, at various members homes. Meetings are held from February thru May and September thru December, and besides a program, usually include either lunch or dessert. The Calumet Gem & Mineral Society meetings are held 7:30 pm in Fellowship Hall at First Presbyterian Church, 8727 Delaware Ave. They normally meet the 2nd Friday monthly from September - May. Hobart. Members of the Lake County Parks Gardening Club meet monthly to learn gardening techniques, led by horticulturist, Bryan McKay.
